Job Role
The Assistant Marketing Manager is a strategic commercial and technical leadership role responsible for driving market expansion, consultant engagement, and business development activities within Indonesia’s HVAC and industrial ventilation sectors. Acting as a bridge between engineering expertise and strategic market positioning, the role focuses heavily on influencing project specifications, strengthening consultant relationships, and expanding the company’s footprint across critical infrastructure industries.
Reporting directly to the regional leadership structure, the successful candidate will lead technical marketing initiatives, manage key consultant relationships, oversee technical proposal quality, and support high-value project negotiations while aligning local strategies with Southeast Asia regional objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic market development initiatives to expand market share across critical infrastructure sectors including data centers, hospitals, industrial facilities, and cleanrooms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier M&E consultants, developers, contractors, and infrastructure stakeholders.
- Influence project specifications during the design stage to position the company as the preferred premium engineering solution provider.
- Oversee the preparation of technical proposals, solution presentations, and engineering-based business cases for clients and consultants.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments to strengthen competitive positioning strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the Singapore regional office to align Indonesian market execution with broader Southeast Asia business objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to marketing engineers and technical sales personnel during proposal development and negotiation activities.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, technical forums, industry seminars, and executive-level customer engagements.
- Support high-value commercial negotiations and strategic project acquisition activities.
- Promote premium engineering value propositions focused on efficiency, lifecycle performance, and technical reliability.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in technical sales, strategic marketing, business development, or engineering consulting environments.
- Prior experience operating at Assistant Manager level or equivalent strategic commercial leadership capacity.
- Strong background within HVAC systems, industrial ventilation, fan systems, air filtration systems, or air-cooled chiller industries.
- Experience working within principal/manufacturer environments representing premium European, American, or Chinese industrial brands.
- Strong network with M&E consultants, developers, contractors, and industrial infrastructure stakeholders in Indonesia.
- Ability to translate technical engineering concepts into strategic business value propositions for executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management capabilities.
- Professional business fluency in English for regional communication and reporting activities.
- Strong leadership presence, commercial mindset, and ability to operate within multinational environments.
