Job Role
The Business Development Channel Manager is a strategic commercial leadership role responsible for expanding and governing the company's channel partner ecosystem within the distributed solar photovoltaic (PV) and renewable energy market. This position focuses on accelerating business growth by developing high-performing distribution networks, driving go-to-market strategies, strengthening partner capabilities, and expanding market penetration across both Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segments.
Working closely with regional leadership, distributors, EPC partners, and key industry stakeholders, the successful candidate will develop long-term business strategies, oversee channel performance, support new product launches, and contribute to the organization's continued leadership within Indonesia's rapidly growing renewable energy market.

Job Role

This position focuses on accelerating business growth by developing high-performing distribution networks, driving go-to-market strategies, strengthening partner capabilities, and expanding market penetration across both Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segments.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with revenue targets, market expansion objectives, and global business priorities.
- Build, manage, and strengthen a high-performing ecosystem of distributors, channel partners, EPC companies, and strategic business partners.
- Establish partner development programs, annual business plans, performance monitoring frameworks, and channel governance processes.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) market segments.
- Lead go-to-market (GTM) execution for new solar PV, inverter, battery energy storage, and digital power solutions.
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, technical, and product teams to maximize partner enablement and commercial performance.
- Build strong relationships with industry associations, government agencies, and external stakeholders to support market development and renewable energy initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and industry developments to formulate effective business strategies.
- Deliver executive-level business presentations, commercial proposals, and strategic recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Channel Sales, Business Development, or Strategic Partner Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the renewable energy, power electronics, or energy technology industry.
- Proven experience within the distributed Solar Photovoltaic (PV) industry, particularly across Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) market segments.
- Strong experience developing channel strategies, distributor networks, and commercial partnership programs.
- Solid understanding of solar PV systems, inverter technologies, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), net-metering regulations, channel inventory management, and commercial ROI analysis.
- Excellent business development, negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with experience engaging executive-level stakeholders and external business partners.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly adaptable with the ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-changing business environments.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
