  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while acquiring new business to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals and direct customer visits.
  • Develop trade lanes and business opportunities by leveraging the IFB global network.
  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Service and Overseas Offices to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure all new business meets company profitability and GP targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and provide sales intelligence.
  • Build business across key industries including Palm Oil, Coffee, Rubber, Manufacturing and General Cargo.
  • Review sales performance regularly with Branch and Country Management.

Ce que vous apportez

  • Bachelor Degree.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Freight-Forwarding, at least 2 years in sales.
  • Proficiency in English Language, other language is a plus.
  • Proactive mentality, flexible, eager, organized and leadership skills.
  • Functional knowledge in air / sea / logistics.
  • Independent, self-driven, communication and result orientated.
  • Market Intelligence and product knowledge within International Freight Forwarding.
  • Knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Existing customer network in North Sumatra is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping documents and freight forwarding processes.
  • Possess own vehicle and valid driving license (SIM A/C) is preferred.
  • Experience handling multinational customers and working with overseas agents is an advantage.
