Job description
As part of a technical assistance programme to the Indonesian fund PT SMI, Ginger SOFRECO is seeking to recruit a Capacity Building Specialist for a mission combining capacity-building activities with project preparation studies.
The Capacity Building Specialist designs and delivers capacity-building activities for PT SMI's staff, helping to strengthen the institution's internal expertise and working methods. This includes developing structured training and support programmes tailored to the institution's needs such as climate change and social issues, or the review of the institution's gender equality policy.
The assignment is planned for a maximum duration of 9 months, mobilised partly or fully on-site in Indonesia.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Development Studies, Environmental Science, or a related field;
- Fluent in English;
- Understanding of Indonesian language is an asset.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in financial context;
- Experience in South-East Asia, ideally Indonesia, is a strong asset;
- Proven experience designing and delivering structured capacity-building programmes for financial institutions, development finance institutions, or public sector entities, ideally in an emerging market context;
- Experience having managed and/or developed a capacity-building programme for a financial or public institution.
