Category Lead

Job Purpose

Lead category procurement teams across a business critical and complex category of spend to optimize total procurement costs. Ensure quality and security standards are met for all materials and services purchased and maximize value delivery for CCEP. Also, collaborate with your counterpart in CCEP Europe procurement to deliver aligned and consistent approach to categories across the CCEP Group. Providing leadership support within Tower team. Maximize the value delivery for CCEP on overall purchasing costs through a total cost ownership management and business partnering approach with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibility

Generally:

• Support the Tower Lead in development and implementation of the annual strategic, operating and budgeting process across your tower and ensure business and category plans align to stakeholder needs (one procurement face to the BU)
• Implement best practices across the procurement lifecycle and leverage available technology
• Enhance and manage strategic supplier relationships in line with agreed supplier performance and compliance indicators and implement best practices across the procurement lifecycle.
• Drive sustainability developments through the supply chain, supporting CCEP to deliver sustainability goals through category projects delivering competitive, sustainable outcomes
• Support business in implementing outcomes of procurement sourcing activities.
• Ensure procurement initiatives are executed using the 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process and methodology to carry out RFIs / RFPs, run negotiations and manage contracts with the support of Procurement systems and tools.
  
  

Direct:

• Develop creative, value-driven strategies for raw materials, packaging, and production-related categories, ensuring supply security, business continuity, and cost efficiency.
• Lead CCEP Indonesia participation in global sourcing tenders for raw/pack materials; align with CEPG initiatives and negotiate supply agreements
• Develop risk mitigation dan business continuity plan strategy for supply disruption, quality issues, and regulatory changes in direct categories.
  
  

Indirect

• Develop creative, value- driven strategies for logistics, marketing, IT, professional services, facilities, and other indirect categories, focusing on innovation and service excellence.
• Represent indirect categories in global sourcing negotiations; align global CEPG strategies with local business requirements.
• Develop risk strategies for contractual risks, service disruptions, and vendor dependency in indirect categories
  
  

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in University degree in Supply Chain, Commerce or other related field required
• Min 4 years experiences in Procurement management or category management including experience within regional/global categories and organizations
• Strong understand of strategic sourcing management practices, with experience in using a diverse range of methods and tools
• Proven procurement project and portfolio management experience and contract management
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively influence outcomes to realise organisational benefits
• Demonstrable supply market evaluation and optimization experience
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at a senior level and build strong relationships
• Experienced developing risk mitigation strategies
• Have a good communication skill both verbal and written in English & Bahasa Indonesia
  
  

Education & Qualifications Required
