CHICK VAN DRIVER - HC BATI-BATI

Job Summary**

Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of live chicks from PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's facilities to various destinations, primarily within the Bati-Bati region. This role ensures timely delivery and adherence to animal welfare standards during transit.

Job Responsibilities**

• Operate company vehicles (vans) for the transportation of live chicks, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
• Load and unload chicks carefully, following established procedures to minimize stress and injury to the animals.
• Maintain appropriate environmental conditions within the vehicle during transit, including temperature and ventilation, to ensure chick well-being.
• Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs, journey records, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, farm personnel, and receiving staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all animal welfare regulations and company policies related to the handling and transport of live poultry.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
  
  

Job Qualifications**

• Valid Class A or B driver's license (SIM B1 Umum or B2 Umum preferred) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional driver, preferably in livestock or refrigerated transport.
• Familiarity with road networks and routes within the Bati-Bati area and surrounding regions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to animal welfare.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy loads as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
