Role

Amandari is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the resort's engineering and maintenance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and guest comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering team.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure all engineering systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, health and safety requirements, and fire life safety standards.
• Manage engineering budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX planning.
• Monitor energy and water consumption and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate contractors and oversee engineering projects and renovations.
• Ensure maintenance records, certifications, and reports are up to date.
• Support resort operations by providing reliable engineering services.
  
  

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Experience managing maintenance programs, budgets, and projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
