- Create CNC program, set up sheet, for milling machine
- Assist with machine setup verification, first-piece inspections, and process validation.
- Investigate machining problems and implement corrective actions.
- Recommend tooling, fixturing, and process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Develop and deliver training programs for machinists related to CNC programming, machine operation, tooling, and manufacturing best practices.
- Promote continuous learning and technical development within the manufacturing team.
- Identify opportunities to improve machining efficiency, reduce scrap, and increase throughput.
- Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support quality and safety objectives by adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Polytechnique in mechanical engineering
- CNC programming experience min 3 years.
- Preferred experience at oil and gas company
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam, Edgecam)
- Strong command of G-code and M-code programming
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and raw material properties
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines
- Ability to read and speak English
