Content Manager, Local Originals - Indonesia

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

This role owns the creative development and execution of Netflix's Indonesian local original slate, both scripted series and film across genres, languages, and budget levels and from pitch through delivery.

Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Evaluate pitches, scripts, and packages from local writers, producers, and showrunners for creative strength and commercial viability.
• Give creative notes on scripts, casting, and cuts to keep projects in line with original creative vision
• Build slate recommendations spanning genres, budgets, and languages based on audience insight.
• Shepherd greenlit shows through production to delivery, partnering with Content Planning, Physical Production, Post/VFX, Marketing, and Publicity.
• Track show-level budgets to maximize value on screen.
• Review and approve creative deliverables - cuts, VFX, marketing assets against Netflix and local standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with Indonesian producers, studios, and talent to source and commission original content.
• Represent Netflix in-market, negotiating access to top local talent and IP.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing long-form scripted film/series production or development at a production house, studio, network, or streamer.
• A track record evaluating scripts and creative packages, and giving notes that improve outcomes.
• Experience running multiple productions concurrently across development, production, and delivery.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• BA/BS degree.
