Continuous Improvement Supervisor

Your Tasks

• As a Continuous Improvement Supervisor at Beiersdorf Indonesia - PC Malang, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our operational excellence by actively leading and embedding key components of the Business Management Operating System (BMOS) within our manufacturing environment. You will champion the implementation of Lean methodology and safety-first approaches, driving continuous process enhancements to boost efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
• Your leadership will be essential in facilitating Daily and Monthly Reviews to monitor performance metrics, coordinating Focused Improvement Teams (FIT) to target critical areas for improvement, and promoting Visual Factory techniques that foster transparency and active engagement among shop floor teams.
• In this role, you will guide and mentor Continuous Improvement Associates, empowering them to apply Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) Pillars effectively through hands-on coaching and skills development. You will lead structured problem-solving initiatives including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to uncover and resolve systemic issues, ensuring corrective actions are sustainable and impactful.
• Moreover, you will steer Kaizen events and cross-functional projects aimed at significant gains in productivity, cost optimization, quality enhancements, and workplace safety improvements. You will maintain and analyze rigorous KPIs, utilize dashboards and reporting tools to ensure data integrity, and facilitate data-driven decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Fostering a Gemba culture will be central to your approach, involving regular walk-throughs and implementation of visual management systems to enhance communication, employee involvement, and empowerment. You will also design and conduct targeted Continuous Improvement workshops and training sessions that elevate Lean capabilities and embed a culture of innovation, teamwork, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• Your contributions will directly influence the optimization of manufacturing processes, waste reduction efforts, and overall performance improvement in close partnership with cross-functional teams, driving Beiersdorf Indonesia’s commitment to world-class manufacturing standards.
  
  

Your Profile

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Continuous Improvement Supervisor with a strong background in Lean manufacturing and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing setting, demonstrating expertise in Business Management Operating Systems and Manufacturing Excellence methodologies.

A degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields is preferred. Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies will be advantageous. Fluency in English and proficiency in using digital dashboards and reporting tools are required to support data-driven decision-making.
