DRIVER - DOD

Job Summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver - DOD (Day Old Duck / Day Old Chicken) to safely transport and deliver day-old livestock from our hatcheries to designated farms and distribution points. The ideal candidate will ensure that the fragile cargo is transported under optimal conditions, adhering strictly to safety regulations, biosecurity protocols, and delivery schedules.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive company delivery trucks to transport Day Old Ducks (DOD) or Day Old Chickens (DOC) to assigned destinations.
• Ensure the temperature, ventilation, and environment inside the transport vehicle are properly maintained to guarantee the health and survival of the livestock.
• Adhere strictly to the company's biosecurity protocols, including vehicle sanitation and disinfection procedures, to prevent contamination and disease spread.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the transport truck is in excellent mechanical and sanitary condition.
• Assist in the careful loading and unloading of livestock crates, ensuring minimal stress to the birds.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, travel records, and vehicle maintenance reports, and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
• Comply with all national traffic laws, road safety regulations, and internal company policies at all times.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid and active commercial driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class (e.g., SIM B1 or SIM B2).
• Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with experience in transporting live animals, perishable goods, or agricultural products.
• Good physical health and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy crates and perform manual labor as required.
• Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or reckless driving.
• Strong commitment to safety, biosecurity protocols, and punctuality.
• Familiarity with routes and road networks in the designated operational areas.
