About The Role

The role is responsible for assisting the Superintendent Project Control in managing financial and cost control aspect for all project operations and implementing the best systems and procedures to ensure quality and accurate control including reporting achieved

In this role, you will:

• Provide analytical support to the Supt Project Control, Project Control Lead, Project Manager, Operations Manager and other managers as required
• Manage all aspects of day to day and monthly financial project requirements
• Implement and maintain cost control systems to allow accurate and timely financial reporting for the mining project
• Create and analyze daily and weekly cost reports
• Create monthly Project Improvement Strategies progress report
• Assist Supt Project Control to prepare and evaluate JDE Financial Reports (EIS)
• Collect and evaluate production data, survey data to ensure accuracy of the numbers for monthly progress.
• Maintain records of evidence which impacts on continuity of mining operation.
  
  
  

About You

• Bachelor's degree in civil, Mine or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Working experience 1 to 3 years' in a mining industry
