• Manage day-to-day quality performance and engagement with Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring an effective and flexible supply base that supports continuous supply and meets BAT quality standards.
• Monitor production processes end-to-end, ensuring correct materials, processes, and specifications are followed across manufacturing and shipment stages.
• Act as an active local customer partner to respond quickly to supplier quality issues, concerns, and production disruptions.
• Conduct quality data analysis and drive BAU performance improvements, including First Pass Yield, Final Pass Yield, and other key quality metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and consumer complaints, ensuring effective corrective actions, preventive actions, and SOP updates are implemented.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering teams to assess process capability, improve output, reduce cost of quality (COQ), and support Lean Six Sigma / VSM initiatives.
• Manage PPAP processes and ensure data-driven approval of production readiness before sign-off.
• Where necessary, travel to suppliers (including 2nd and 3rd tier) to resolve critical issues and support supplier development and quality improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Science is preferred, but candidates from other disciplines are welcome provided they have strong English communication and report writing skills. Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or electronics industry will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Operations-based Quality Management within FMCG supply chain or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, quality processes, and end-to-end supply chain quality control.
• Experience working within structured weekly and monthly control cycles, including performance tracking and reporting.
• Hands-on experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), including process approval, APQP, and production readiness activities.
• Strong technical knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, RCA (8D), Lean Six Sigma, 5S, VSM, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills with the ability to engage and drive alignment across suppliers and internal teams.
• Proven ability to analyse processes and data to drive quality improvements, cost of quality reduction, and operational efficiency.
