Field Inspector

Mission of the Role

The Field Inspector is responsible for executing inspection, sampling, and supervision activities at client sites to ensure operations are conducted in accordance with company procedures, applicable standards, and client requirements. The role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity and quality of inspection services by ensuring accurate field observations, reliable documentation, and timely reporting. Working closely with clients and internal operational teams, the Field Inspector contributes to safe, efficient, and consistent service delivery while upholding Cotecna's commitment to professionalism, impartiality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, sampling supervision, and other field activities in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
• Monitor loading, unloading, stockpile, warehouse, or production activities to ensure operational compliance.
• Prepare accurate field records, inspection reports, and supporting documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of inspection activities.
• Identify and report operational issues, discrepancies, or non-conformities observed during inspections.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE requirements and applicable industry standards while performing field assignments.
• Safeguard inspection integrity by maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and impartiality throughout inspection activities.
• Perform other operational duties assigned by the superior.
  
  

Qualifications, Experience And Technical Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marine, Agriculture, Science, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Inspector, Surveyor, or in other relevant field operational roles.
• Experience in Agriculture, Coal, or Mineral inspection is preferred.
• Possession of an AISI certificate is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in field operations.
• Willing to travel and work at various project or client locations.
• Good command of Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is preferred.
