Field Service Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer (Mandarin Speaking) to join our team in Indonesia. In this customer-facing role, you will provide technical service and support for our process instrumentation, with a particular focus on supporting our Chinese-speaking customers across Indonesia. Depending on your preference, this position can be based in Surabaya, Jakarta, or Medan.

What is the role about?

Do you enjoy working hands-on with technology and solving technical challenges directly at customer sites? Are you comfortable communicating in Mandarin and interested in developing your expertise in process instrumentation?

As a Field Service Engineer, you will support our customers throughout the lifecycle of their Endress+Hauser instruments. From installation and commissioning to troubleshooting and maintenance, you will help ensure that our customers' instrumentation operates reliably and effectively.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

• Deliver post-sale services at customer sites, including on-site installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Endress+Hauser instruments
• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure reliable instrument performance and minimize operational disruption
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance, instrument configuration, and service measures that can improve performance and reliability
• Provide technical guidance and practical training to customer employees on the correct operation and maintenance of our instruments
• Complete service reports and other required administrative documentation accurately and on time
• Collaborate with customers, internal technical teams, and other stakeholders to resolve service requests and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  
  

What do we expect from you?

You:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline
• Have hands-on knowledge of process instrumentation and are comfortable working with technical equipment in industrial environments
• Have knowledge of IT applications, MS Office (proficient user in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SFDC, SAP)
• Communicate fluently in Mandarin, both spoken and written, enabling you to work effectively with our Chinese-speaking customers
• Have a good command of English for communication within our international organization
• Communicate confidently with customers, approach problems systematically, and can work both independently and collaboratively
• Are proactive, service-oriented, and willing to travel regularly throughout the assigned service area
