Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight & Compliance

  • Oversee and supervise all financial operations covering Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Procurement and Inventory Management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, including the preparation and review of annual Corporate Income Tax (PPh Badan) obligations
  • Coordinate with external consultants for accounting records, bookkeeping and financial reporting, and tax compliance vendor for tax reporting and taxation advisory matters
  • Lead monthly closings, approve transactions, and resolve discrepancies
  • Enforce reimbursement/payment policies and oversee urgent payments
  • Support finance system integration and lead financial projects (e.g., RFID, Odoo)
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve financial processes, controls, policies and reporting instruments to support business growth and operational efficiency

Planning, Pricing Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop financial models and forecasts with leadership
  • Analyze pricing, cost structures, margins, and inventory trends
  • Prepare financial reports for management, investors, and board members and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management
  • Support decision-making with data insights
  • Review and establish product strategies based on target margin requirements and overall profitability considerations

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against approved budgets and drive cost efficiency
  • Manage and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, ensuring alignment with company financial targets and strategic objectives
  • Monitor company spending and conduct regular variance analysis between actual expenditures and budget allocations, providing recommendations for cost optimization

Procurement

  • Oversee the end to end procurement process, ensuring purchases align with budgets and company policies
  • Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing, quality and reliable delivery
  • Review and approve purchase orders and vendor contacts in accordance with approval authority limits
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives through negotiation, vendor consolidation and process improvement
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all procurement transactions

Inventory Management

  • Oversee end to end stock management and monthly stock opname and analyze result and action plan of stock opname
  • Prepare inventory for new branches and balance stock via inter-branch transfers.
  • Review inventory listings and branch item requests to suppliers
  • Create SOP to improve business processes (or automation)

Internal Control

  • Design, implement and maintain robust internal control framework to mitigate financial and operational risks
  • Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to identify control gaps and implement improvement
  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure audit readiness throughout the year
  • Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures and governance standards across the organization

Cash & Banking Management

  • Oversee cash flow planning and optimize interest earnings
  • Manage banking relationships and financial transactions

Team Leadership & Operational Support

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring smooth operations and team development
  • Support branch launches and cross-functional projects with finance input
  • Collaborate with IT and marketing to enhance financial systems and processes

  • Accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
  • Well-managed annual budget with ongoing variance monitoring and cost control
  • Achievement of targeted profit margins and overall financial performance
  • Full compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Robust internal control framework with zero recurring major audit findings
  • Optimized inventory levels with accurate valuation and minimal discrepancies
  • Efficient, policy-compliant procurement with documented cost savings
  • Healthy cash flow position with optimized banking arrangements
  • High-performing finance team with clear development plan

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent) is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial or controller role
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple finance functions including accounting, procurement, inventory
  • Experience in retail, healthcare services or multi-branches operations is preferred
  • In depth knowledge of Indonesia taxation (PPh, PPN) and financial reporting standards (PSAK, IFRS)
  • Strong financial analysis skills including P&L analysis, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting
  • Proficient in accounting software (Odoo) and advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Sound knowledge of Internal Control Frameworks and financial risk management
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management and inventory costing methods
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
