Financial Analyst - Technical Assistance for "SDG Indonesia One"

Job description

As part of a technical assistance programme to the Indonesian fund PT SMI, Ginger SOFRECO is seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst for a mission combining capacity-building activities with project preparation studies.

The Financial Analyst assesses the financial aspects of infrastructure projects considered for financing, including financial modelling and investment analysis. A team of engineers and national analysts will support the Analyst in conducting pre-feasibility studies. The Analyst also contributes advisory input to the capacity-building activities delivered to the fund's teams, helping ensure that projects are structured on sound financial terms and appropriately manage their financial risks.

The assignment is planned for a maximum duration of 9 months, mobilised partly or fully on-site in Indonesia.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business/finance/engineering (or equivalent);
• Very good command of English in a professional environment (working level);
• Understanding of Indonesian language is an asset.

Professional experience:

• Minimum 10 years of general professional experience;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial modelling and investment analysis for infrastructure or renewable energy projects;
• Excellent knowledge of the Indonesian financial environment, or at minimum the regional (South-East Asian) context;
• Proven experience within an infrastructure investment fund;
• Experience in South-East Asia, ideally Indonesia, is a strong asset.
