General Machining

Responsible for carrying out machining and fabrication processes in accordance with technical drawings, quality standards, and the company's workplace safety procedures

Responsibilities:

• Operate machining machines such as milling, bending, rolling, drilling, cutting, and other workshop equipment.
• Read, understand, and interpret technical drawings and work specifications.
• Perform measurement processes and inspect work results using appropriate measuring tools.
• Ensure that work results comply with the specified quality standards and tolerances.
• Carry out work in accordance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines and work equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure the implementation of 5S in the workshop.
• Coordinate with supervisors and related teams to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Report any production issues, machine malfunctions, or discrepancies in work results to the supervisor.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum high school/technical vocational school in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Having experience as a General Machinist/Fitter is preferred.
• Understands machining and fabrication processes.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Understands the use of measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Has a basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
• Able to work individually or in a team.
• Willing to work in shifts and overtime if required.
