Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs on-site
- Conduct inspections and hazard assessments; identify and mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with K3 regulations and local/international safety standards
- Provide training – conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Investigate incidents – document accidents, near-misses, and implement corrective actions
- Monitor PPE usage and enforce safety protocols across all workers
- Manage environmental impact, waste disposal, and hazardous materials handling
- Maintain documentation – HSE records, permits, certifications, and reports
- Coordinate communication between project management, contractors, and site personnel
- Promote safety culture and worker engagement in HSE initiatives
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field)
- Certification: SKA/SKK (Professional Certification) minimum Junior Expert level
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in the construction services industry
- Specialized Experience: Proven track record as HSE Personnel on multi-story building construction, renovation, or office/residential projects (minimum 4 floors)
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Proficiency in HSE management systems (ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001)
- Excellent communication and training abilities
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities
- Leadership and ability to influence safety culture
- Proficiency in HSE software and reporting tools
- Physical ability to conduct site inspections
- Fluency in English and/or local language
