Job Overview:

The Government Relations Intern will support the Government Relations function in handling administrative tasks, documentation, and coordination activities. This internship provides the opportunity to gain practical exposure to regulatory processes, stakeholder engagement, and compliance-related activities within an international engineering and construction environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Under supervision and with guidance, you will be involved in learning and assisting with:

• Provide administrative support to the Government Relations team, including document preparation, filing, and data entry
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining records of permits, licenses, and regulatory documents
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence related to government relations activities
• Coordinate and schedule meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders as required
• Assist in tracking regulatory updates and maintaining relevant documentation
• Support the team in organizing and compiling documents for submissions to government authorities
• Ensure proper documentation and filing in line with company procedures and compliance requirements
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Active student in D3/D4/S1. (preferably in Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Sciences or related fields)
• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Internship placement is available at McDermott Batam, with a minimum duration of 2 months and a maximum of 8 months
• Applicants should not be participating in another internship program
• Applicants should have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions
