Investment Research Intern

The Job Details

• As Pluang’s Investment Research Intern, you will be focusing on topics around our investment product (Saham AS, Mutual Fund, Crypto and Gold) and stay up to date with all financial news that can affect the market
• 
  You will be a key member of the Financial Education team that collaborates with cross functional stakeholders in Marketing, Product and Commercial (Sales), Data to turn the ideas into creative content
• 
  Perform fundamental analysis applying DCF valuation, multiples valuation and comparable valuation methods
• 
  Perform technical analysis (price and volume analysis) then able to create signals & trading plan
• 
  Helping create Investment Research Report, Market Outlook, Blog Post and Pitch Deck to enhance our users’ financial knowledge & literacy

Key Outputs & Deliverables (1-Month Internship)

• Conducted daily monitoring of global and domestic financial markets, covering U.S. Stocks, Mutual Funds, Cryptocurrency, and Gold
• 
  Produced weekly concise market commentaries and summaries of major economic and financial events impacting investment products
• 
  Performed fundamental equity analysis using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable Company Analysis (Comps), and Multiples Valuation methodologies
• 
  Conducted technical analysis using price action, volume trends, support/resistance levels, and technical indicators to generate trading signals and investment ideas
• 
  Developed educational investment content, including blog articles, market insights, and financial literacy materials for retail investors
• 
  Assisted in creating investment pitch decks and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
• 
  Collaborated with Marketing, Product, Commercial, and Data teams to transform research findings into engaging and actionable content
• 
  Helping SEO/AEO Project
