IT Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating IT projects across our organization. In order to do this successfully, this person should feel comfortable handling multiple tasks at a time.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for managing project tasks/activities for a Portfolio of Project and/or Non-Project IT Initiatives with low-to-medium scope complexity and budget size, to ensure compliance with plans and meet defined quality standards (on time, within scope and on budget constraints).
2. Responsible for ensuring Project/Non-Project implementation meets objectives and timelines by supervising, monitoring, and controlling the completeness and accuracy of all processes at each development and Project/Non-Project stage, including identifying and mitigating issues, controlling, and evaluating Project/Non-Project milestones and deliverables.
3. Manage resource planning, budgets, timelines, task allocation, and project team responsibilities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
4. Actively manage a plan and project risks and issues.
5. Coordinate the project team by communicating Project/Non-Project development analysis to relevant units (users and vendors) and progress on the development work.
6. Coordinate with relevant internal and external parties in Project/Non-Project implementation, including testing and preparation for migration to a production environment.
7. Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
8. Report and escalate to management as needed.
9. Provide coaching and mentoring to project team members as needed, to ensure accountability and positive action on delegated tasks.

Qualifications

1. Have at least bachelor's degree from reputable university with education background from Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology, Business Studies/Management or equivalent.
2. Have a minimum of 5 years working experience, with at least 3-4 years as an IT Project Manager, preferably in Banking or Financial Institution.
3. Have knowledge and experience in SDLC (waterfall, agile).
4. Strong on logical analysis, a good self-learner.
5. Very good communication and interpersonal skill
6. Good to Excellent skills in Work Planning, Scope Management, Resource Management, Risk/Issue Management, Quality Management, and Change Management.
7. Have knowledge on software development or IT technical knowledge will be advantageous.
