Junior Field Operator

We're Hiring a Junior Field Operator!

Join our operations team and play an important role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our LPG plant. As a Junior Field Operator, you will support day-to-day plant operations, monitor field equipment, execute operational activities in accordance with standard procedures, and contribute to achieving production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

Work Location: Site LPG Plant – Palembang, South Sumatra

Job Requirements

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in plant operations within the oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, or energy industries are preferred.
• Basic understanding of process plant operations, equipment, and industrial safety practices.
• Willing to work in a 12-hour shift rotation system and be based at the plant site.
• Good communication skills, discipline, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards.
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Operate LPG plant facilities safely and efficiently in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support production targets.
• Execute plant startup, normal shutdown, and emergency shutdown activities under the guidance of supervisors and senior operators.
• Monitor field equipment and process conditions, conduct routine inspections, and record operational data in log sheets.
• Identify and report abnormal conditions, operational issues, and potential equipment improvements to support plant reliability and integrity.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance activities and support coordination with maintenance teams.
• Follow operational instructions from supervisors to ensure safe and smooth plant operations.
• Implement HSSE policies, report hazards and unsafe conditions, and actively participate in safety initiatives and programs.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards in daily work activities.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and facilities in good working condition.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required by supervisors to support operational and business objectives.
