You will supervise and motivate a team of laundry staff, oversee daily laundry operations, and ensure all laundry processes meet the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness. As a Laundry Supervisor, you’re not just supervising daily laundry and/or uniform operations– you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Supervise day-to-day laundry team operations: Lead, train, and oversee Laundry and Uniform team members to maintain a consistent supply of clean linens and uniforms
• Manage uniform distribution: Oversee ordering, distribution, and inventory of team member uniforms
• Oversee linen processing: Assign, supervise, and assist with tasks such as collecting, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, ironing, folding, and storing linens while ensuring proper equipment maintenance
• Monitor quality and efficiency: Track linen quality, inventory levels, stain and damage rates, and production reports, ensuring timely rewashing, repairs, and reordering as needed
• Optimize productivity: Assign machinery, equipment, and work areas while maintaining productivity records, including hourly production metrics

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
• Familiarity with various laundry equipment and cleaning techniques.
• A keen eye for quality and precision in laundry services.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Effective interpersonal skills to interact with staff and management.
