As the business continues to expand, the organization is strengthening its merchandising capabilities by enhancing inventory planning, product allocation, commercial analysis, and assortment optimization to maximize sales performance across its boutique network.

Job Role

The Merchandiser will be responsible for maximizing sales performance and profitability by managing product assortment, inventory allocation, merchandising analysis, and retail performance across the company's luxury fashion boutiques.

Working closely with store operations, buying teams, and commercial management, this role is responsible for analyzing sales trends, monitoring inventory performance, optimizing stock distribution, recommending product assortments, and ensuring the right products are available at the right locations to support business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, inventory levels, and merchandising KPIs across all retail boutiques.
  • Monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle and provide recommendations for assortment optimization and inventory planning.
  • Manage inventory allocation and replenishment strategies to ensure balanced stock levels across multiple retail locations.
  • Track key retail performance indicators including Sell-Through Rate, Average Unit Retail (AUR), Average Transaction Value (ATV), Units Per Transaction (UPT), and Stock Turn.
  • Identify slow-moving products and recommend inventory redistribution or stock transfer strategies between boutiques.
  • Monitor customer purchasing behavior, seasonal demand, and market trends to optimize product assortments and sizing allocations.
  • Develop markdown recommendations and promotional strategies that improve inventory turnover while maintaining premium brand positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with store management, buying teams, marketing, and retail operations to align merchandising strategies with overall commercial objectives.
  • Prepare regular merchandising reports, inventory analysis, sales forecasts, and business performance presentations for management.
  • Support new product launches, seasonal collections, and assortment planning to maximize commercial opportunities.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Finance, Marketing, or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in merchandising, buying, inventory planning, demand planning, or retail commercial analysis, preferably within luxury fashion, premium retail, footwear, handbags, accessories, or lifestyle products.
  • Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles, inventory management, assortment planning, and luxury retail operations.
  • Proven ability to analyze retail business performance using merchandising KPIs such as Sell-Through Rate, Stock Turn, AUR, ATV, UPT, inventory productivity, and sales trends.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience translating sales and inventory data into commercial recommendations.
  • Good understanding of premium consumer behavior, fashion trends, seasonal assortment planning, and luxury retail environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis for merchandising reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, commercially minded, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English for business communication, reporting, and coordination with regional stakeholders.
