Multi Skill Worker

Job Summary

Support fabrication and production activities by preparing, reviewing, and marking up technical drawings. Assist in ensuring drawing accuracy, coordinating with production teams, and maintaining proper documentation to facilitate efficient shipbuilding operations. This role provides an opportunity to develop technical skills in shipyard design and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and workshop regulation.
• Prepare and review drawing for fabrication purposes.
• Perform mark-up drawing based on site condition and production requirements.
• Assist preparator activities in ensuring drawing readiness for production.
• Support marker activities in transferring drawing dimension to material (marking).
• Read and interpret technical drawing and specification.
• Coordinate with site team, engineer and supervisor.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawing before fabrication.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings and mark-ups.
  
  

Key Requirements

Preferred Experience

• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience in shipyard or related industry.
• Basic understanding of shipbuilding drawing and fabrication process.
• Familiar with AutoCAD or other design software.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience in mark-up drawing is an advantage.
• Willing to learn and develop multi skill capability.
• Good communication and teamwork skill.
  
  

Education and Key Certifications Necessary

• Minimum SMK (Vocational High School) majoring in Design/Engineering or Equivalent.
• Diploma (D3) in shipbuilding design or related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of design software (AutoCAD or similar).
• Understanding of basic ship construction drawing is an advantage.
• Strong willingness to learn and be trained as preparator and marker.
