As an Operations Intern, you'll handle daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. This includes managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining records. You'll also support operational functions by streamlining processes and developing SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency
Responsibilities:
- Execute daily monitoring of transactions by reviewing alerts and flags generated by the system
- Conduct initial documentation of findings, including layering and structuring, before investigator review
- Assist in gathering necessary data for investigations, such as KYC information and transaction histories
- Keep the case tracker consistently updated and maintained
- Determine final decisions regarding account freezes and escalations
- Prepare narratives for STR and LTKM reports
- Manage submissions to PPATK through GoAML
- Address the ongoing single point of failure within the fraud and AML monitoring functions
- Mitigate the risk of SLA breaches during peak times, case escalations, or staff leave
- Manage the indefinite deprioritization of strategic initiatives like process automation and tooling
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
- Openness to working from the office
- Proficiency in using Excel and creating flowcharts
- A strong desire to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Capability to create documentation and handle administrative tasks effectively
