Role Summary:
Marketing Specialist at Maker Lab (ID) leads GTM strategy, brand activations, and multi-channel digital campaigns for consumer & AI apps. The role drives local product adoption, user growth, and brand awareness via experiential events and requires 3+ years of tech or agency marketing experience.
Role:
- Product & GTM Marketing: Own the complete Go-to-Market lifecycle for consumer app features within the Indonesian market. Design and execute data-backed launch playbooks that move users from initial trial to sustainable, daily habit loops.
- Data Analysis & Retention Optimisation: Utilise marketing analytics, experimentation frameworks, and data queries (SQL) to analyse large behavioural datasets. Diagnose user journey friction, monitor prompt drop-off rates, and implement A/B testing variables to optimise app retention metrics.
- Strategic Marketing Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and scale co-marketing programs and joint growth initiatives with digital-first partners (e.g., developers, e-wallets, or digital merchants) to expand the app ecosystem footprint and user base.
- Insight-Led Planning: Conduct essential research into user behaviour, market intelligence, and competitive movements to establish a clear positioning strategy for regional and local execution.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner seamlessly with global product teams, communications, and regional marketing leads to coordinate deliverables and hold your ground on localised strategy decisions.
You:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or digital marketing within a digital-first consumer app environment.
- Demonstrate experience assisting with multi-channel marketing campaigns from initial planning through to post-campaign reporting.
- Show familiarity with standard marketing analytics tools and an ability to use data to justify campaign recommendations.
- Possess experience supporting partnership discussions and executing day-to-day deliverables for external co-marketing programs.
- Adapt quickly to shifting project priorities and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written English, and fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, with strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with the local market.
