Purchasing Manager - FMCG (Indirect Purchasing)

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturing company with a strong presence in the market, known for its high-quality products and innovative approach to business. They are currently expanding their operations and are looking for a Purchasing Manager (Indirect) to join their team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Indirect Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and technical knowledge, with a proven understanding of machineries, building, and projects. They must also have previous experience in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for indirect goods and services, such as packaging materials, maintenance and repair services, and office supplies.
• Identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and finance, to ensure timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.
• Manage and develop relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Oversee the procurement process, from creating purchase orders to tracking and receiving goods and services.
• Develop and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as cost savings and supplier performance.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in indirect purchasing, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven track record of cost savings and supplier management.
• Fluent in English and Indonesian.
• Willing to travel frequently to Cibitung Area
