About The Job

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead one of our strategic sales regions and drive sustainable business growth through strong commercial leadership, execution excellence, and high-performing distributor partnerships.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating commercial strategies into market execution, building winning sales organizations, and delivering superior business performance across diverse channels and territories.

Job Purpose And Impact

Drive sustainable regional business growth by delivering commercial performance, developing high-performing sales teams, and strengthening distributor and customer partnerships. This role plays a critical role in ensuring excellent execution in the market while building future-ready sales capabilities and long-term competitive advantage.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver Sustainable Business Growth Lead the achievement of regional volume, revenue, market share, and profitability targets. Translate business priorities into effective regional sales strategies and execution plans. Identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives to accelerate business performance across channels and territories.
  • Drive Execution Excellence Ensure consistent execution of commercial priorities, sales standards, and outlet activation programs across the region. Drive outlet coverage effectiveness, sales force productivity, distribution quality, and execution discipline. Monitor performance indicators and implement corrective actions to maximize market opportunities.
  • Strengthen Distributor and Customer Partnerships Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers to support long-term business growth. Drive distributor capability, operational excellence, and commercial effectiveness. Ensure alignment between distributor execution and company growth objectives.
  • Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams Lead, coach, and develop a multi-layer sales organization to build a strong performance culture. Drive employee engagement, capability development, succession planning, and talent growth. Foster collaboration and accountability across teams to deliver business objectives.
  • Optimize Commercial Resources Effectively manage commercial investments, people, assets, and resources to maximize return on investment. Drive productivity improvement initiatives and ensure efficient resource allocation across the region.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Trade Marketing, Revenue Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions to deliver integrated commercial plans. Provide market insights and customer feedback to support strategic business decisions and commercial innovation.

CANDIDATE CRITERIA

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG Sales, including experience leading geographically dispersed sales organizations.
  • Strong experience managing distributor partnerships and General Trade channel.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth, market expansion, and commercial execution excellence.
  • Experience leading large and multi-layer sales organizations with a minimum of 10 direct and/or indirect reports.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, profitability, market share, and execution priorities.
  • Demonstrated capability in coaching, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across internal and external partners.
  • Willingness to be based in Batam and manage a geographically diverse region with regular business travel.
