Senior HSE Manager - APAC

The Role

We are seeking a Senior HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environment management across the full lifecycle of major offshore wind projects in APAC - from late-stage development through construction completion. Reporting to the EPC Director, you will be the senior HSE authority on LAUTEC's client projects, ensuring the highest standards are upheld in line with applicable legislation and project-specific requirements.

This is a high-impact position on landmark offshore wind developments, with the opportunity to shape HSE culture and outcomes at programme level. An attractive expat package is available for the right candidate. Details on location and project will be provided during the interview process.

What You Will Do

• Own the HSE strategy and its execution across the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with legislation, client expectations, and LAUTEC standards.
• Lead HSE planning across analysis, maturation, and execution phases, including preparation and implementation of Safety Management Plans and Health & Safety Plans.
• Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation, including design risk assessments across all technical packages.
• Set HSE requirements in tender and contract documents, participate in supplier prequalification and tender evaluation, and negotiate HSE terms for major contracts.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance through inspections, audits, and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance using trend analysis, safety statistics, and audit findings.
• Act as the project's HSE subject matter expert, advising the Project Manager and leadership team on critical decisions.
• Lead incident investigations and reviews, and support extraordinary HSE campaigns and interventions on site.
• Manage the interface with working environment authorities and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Assess and plan HSE resource requirements across construction sites.
  
  

What Are We Looking For

• 10+ years of HSE management experience, with a proven track record specifically on offshore wind projects. Track record from both development and Construction.
• Deep knowledge of offshore construction HSE practices, international standards, and regulatory frameworks - APAC experience is a strong advantage.
• Relevant degree (BSc or equivalent) in engineering, occupational health, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading HSE on large-scale EPC or owner's projects, including contractor management and tender/contract negotiation.
• A strong leadership presence - able to influence senior stakeholders, contractors, and site teams alike.
• Willingness to relocate to the APAC region; an expat package is available for the right candidate.
