As a SHE Specialist, you will be instrumental in enabling safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible operations, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements, Weir’s SHE standards, and ISO certifications, while fostering a strong safety culture across site activities.

What You’ll Do

• Champion a strong safety-first culture, driving full compliance with the Zero Harm Framework and all safety requirements.
• Ensure adherence to SHE regulations and company procedures, meeting all legislative and organisational standards.
• Lead site risk assessments and incident investigations, implementing effective corrective actions to minimise hazards and prevent recurrence.
• Integrate SHE principles into continuous improvement initiatives to enhance and sustain safe work practices.
• Actively monitor and improve site safety and environmental performance daily, achieving measurable outcomes in compliance, incident reduction, and safety culture
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years’ experience in industrial safety or risk management within mining, petrochemical, or chemical sectors.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or Industrial Hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian WHS and environmental regulations, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Relevant certifications such as Ahli K3 Umum, Ahli K3 Pertambangan, POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama), and SMK3 Auditor.
• Experience in contract roles and a demonstrated ability to drive safety culture transformation initiatives.
• Proven capability in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and applying continuous improvement frameworks aligned to SHE practices.
