The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and relationship-oriented SME Relationship Manager to drive new business acquisition and portfolio growth within the SME segment. You will be responsible for identifying financing opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify SME financing leads through networking, referrals, and market outreach activities.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with SME business owners and decision makers.
- Understand borrower needs and propose financing solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Present and pitch financing products while managing negotiations and relationship development.
- Conduct detailed fact-finding and client assessments to identify business opportunities and potential financing barriers.
- Collaborate internally with relevant stakeholders to support deal execution and customer experience.
- Support partnership initiatives, projects, and commercial collaborations when required.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in SME financing, commercial banking, fintech lending, or B2B sales.
- Strong understanding of SME business landscapes and commercial financing dynamics.
- Existing network within SME communities or business ecosystems is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to acquire and manage business relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive selling capabilities.
- Strong commercial mindset with analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment.
