Job Description

• Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying the Novotel brand's mindset and values
• Maintains quality standards produced by the dishwashing machines on all chinaware, glassware, and flatware to meet hotel specifications
• Is in charge of the maintenance and care of all F&B operating equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity
• Supervises and trains steward team members to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and performance expectations
• Enforces strict cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas, including food preparation and service areas, storage facilities, and staff quarters
• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chinaware, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement
• Conducts regular quality assurance inspections and audits to verify compliance with hotel and ACCOR standards
• Schedules and coordinates steward team rosters to ensure adequate coverage during all service periods
• Implements and monitors health and safety protocols in accordance with local regulations and hotel policy
• Maintains detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and staff performance
• Conforms to and enforces all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as laid down by ACCOR and the hotel to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service
• Remains ready and responsible to perform any other duties as designated or required by Management from time to time

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

• Fluent in English and the national language
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position within a Midscale International business hotel with a minimum of 250 rooms
• 1 to 2 years of further education or equivalent professional diploma, with a focus on hospitality technology or facilities management
• Proven experience in supervising and training steward or housekeeping teams, with demonstrated ability to manage staff performance and adherence to standard operating procedures
• Knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment, kitchen sterilisation standards, and F&B operational equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and ACCOR brand service standards
• Experience conducting quality assurance inspections and maintaining compliance documentation

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Experience with inventory management systems and cost control in hospitality settings
• Certification in food safety, health and safety, or hospitality management
• Proficiency in hotel management systems and basic computer literacy
