As a Strategic Buyer – Marketing & Corporate Services, you are supporting Procurement S&IM in delivering sourcing, supplier management, contract support, procurement governance, spend visibility, and cost optimization across indirect categories such as Marketing, Corporate Services, Travel, Fleet, IT, Facilities, and other business services.

Procurement’s role includes identifying business needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, monitoring performance, and supporting procurement policies and procedures..

A Day in the Life of a Strategic Buyer, Marketing & Corporate Services

• Lead sourcing activities, including supplier selection, quotation analysis, negotiations, and supplier recommendations.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best balance of quality, service, cost, and business requirements.
• Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings and procurement optimization.
• Manage supplier performance and support contract administration activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, sourcing standards, and governance requirements.
• Prepare procurement analyses, recommendations, and reports to support business decision-making.
  
  

What Will Make You Successful

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Commercial, or related function.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in supporting or leading tender process, supplier comparison, negotiation, and award recommendation.
• Experience handling supplier/spend data, commercial comparison, price analysis, and reporting.
• Familiar with SAP, Ariba, procurement platform, vendor database, Excel, and Power BI are preferred. Strategic Buyer references include SAP contract and vendor-related activities.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
