Tasks
The accountant is responsible for managing the Company's Financial records and ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with accounting standards and applicable Tax Regulations. This role plays a critical function in financial planning, reconciliation, and preparing reports that support decision-making and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions accurately recorded and categorized
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure all journal entries are properly supported and documented.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Provide Financial reports to management with relevant commentary on performance variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate historical data.
Account Reconciliation
- Conduct and prepare monthly and annual Tax reports (PPh 21, PPh 23, VAT, and Corporate Income Tax).
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Taxation
- Calculate and prepare monthly and annual tax reports (PPh 21, PPh 23, VAT and Corporate Income Tax).
- Liaise with Tax Consultants and ensure compliance with Indonesian Tax Regulations.
- Maintain and organize Tax documentation for audit purposes.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure financial practices align with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal financial controls.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
Fixed Assets & Depreciation
- Manage fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Conduct periodic inventory or asset verifications if required.
Coordination with Other Departments
- Work closely with Operations, Sales and Procurement teams to ensure accurate financial recording and cross-functional coordination.
- Support the development of cost analysis and product margin tracking if need
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a full-spectrum accounting role.
- Prior experience in a trading/ distribution company is an advantage.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian GAAP and basic understanding of IFRS.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ZOHO, Accurate, Jurnal) and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Good understanding of Indonesian Taxation.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
