What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Administrator and Customer Support Specialist with strong Help Desk expertise. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills, technical understanding, and a passion for delivering outstanding user support.
Job Description
As an Application Administrator & Customer Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Application Management:
- Configure, monitor, and maintain software applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
- Collaborate with IT teams for updates, patches, and system enhancements.
Customer Support & Help Desk:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for user support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone, email, and support tickets.
- Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
System Improvement:
- Analyze user feedback to recommend and implement system improvements.
- Proactively monitor systems to identify potential issues before they impact users.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in an IT-related role, preferably in Application Administration, Customer Support, or Help Desk services.
- Prior experience working in the Information Technology sector.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving application and system issues.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of database management, cloud systems, and software updates.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Additional language skills are a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
