Back Office Analyst

The general purpose of this role is to execute, monitor and confirm any operations related to treasury transactions to bank based on Treasury Front Office decision in accordance to PMI guidance; daily bank balance upload and reconciliation in treasury management system; performing accounting entries and preparation for periodical treasury reporting.

Additionally, this role contributes to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Daily responsibilities includes:

• Upload bank account balance to Treasury Management System (Quantum) and perform reconciliation to ensure that the balance is correctly uploaded and reflected.
• Execute and monitor treasury/sensitive payment status to bank and ensuring that all payments are executed in accordance with PMI Guidelines (SOX and Operational)
• Confirmation of treasury transactions to bank which includes Money Market transactions, Foreign Exchange deals, Intercompany Loan and Interbank Transfers are processed timely and accurately by complying to the legal requirements.
• Post journal entries in SAP for all treausry transactions including bank charges and commission payment.
• Support dividend management starting from the funding to exchange rate adjustment in SAP
• Perform necessary booking for FX netting on SAP on the agreed date for market with pooling activities
• Monthly reconciliation including checking on Runbook reconciliation for treasury BO accounts; Reconciliation for Money Market activities between Quantum vs SAP; Interest Accrual booking
• Participate in project implementations related to payment systems and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and standardization
  
  
  

Requirements:

• University Degree in Finance or Economics - open for fresh graduates
• 1-2 years professional experience in Finance will be preferred
• A Fluent english speaker
• A strong analytical mindset, ambitious to constantly expand knowledge, challenge the status quo and enhance processes
• A strong communicator who’s not afraid to reach out to stakeholders cross-functionally
• Ideally with good command of SAP and Microsoft tools
