About this Position The Business Controller is responsible for providing in-depth financial analysis to improve margins and reduce negative impacts, facilitating regular business reviews, and communicating financial performance to highlight gaps and opportunities. The position drives and supports management in strategic decision-making processes.

What You´ll Do

  • Ensures compliance/governance on Customer Supply Agreement, Rebate Agreement with all SBU Head/Sales team
  • Manage financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and analysis reports
  • Monthly Closing review on Daily Sales Forecast
  • Discuss with each unit how to improve Gross Profit margins or reduce negative margins per product. Communicate findings in regular monthly business reviews with all local and regional Strategic Business Units
  • Communicate financial performance, highlight gap/ opportunities vs Planning or Forecast
  • Monitor accuracy of forecasts and accruals during closing and forecasting exercises and to support the regional controlling team in setting up the Planning.
  • Support of management in decision making processes such as costs reduction initiatives, go to market strategy, business expansion & business investments plans.
  • Business Partnering with Sales and other departments, and join regular S&OP meeting
  • Ensure compliance on policy and provide CSDA/CSCA training to all sales team or business unit Head
  • Project management & Digitalization implementation in Indonesia
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations within the South East Asia operations

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's & master’s degree in accounting, Finance or MBA
  • CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or Other Qualification would be advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in area: accounting, corporate finance, controlling, business analysis.
  • Big 4 Auditor experience will be preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Digital expertise (i.e., Power BI, VBA, SAP scripting)
  • Problem solver, action oriented
  • Self-motivated, independent, curious personality
  • Attention to details, strong analytical skills
  • Leadership & able to coordinate within different functional team
