Equans Electrical and Communications in Melbourne are looking for a skilled communications technician to round out the team’s skillset. The ideal candidate will hold their Registered Cabler Licence with Co-axial, Fibre, and Structured cabling endorsements

Role Overview

• Installation, testing and commissioning of various cabling & communication cabling systems in commercial environment.
• Work within a team to deliver communications projects in accordance with Company standards and to meet project time frames.
• Ensuring customer concerns are proactively addressed.
• Establish and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues and Managers of the Company.
• Effectively manage administrative requirements.
• Attend toolbox meetings and training as required.
• Ability to determine job priorities and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
• Help shape the next generation by supporting and supervising apprentices.
• Work a combination of day and night shift.

What You Need

• You hold a Open Registered Cabler Licence with Co-axial, Fibre, and Structured cabling endorsements
• You are looking for an opportunity to work for a tier one operation.
• You are able to work a Sunday night to Thursday night shift in the retail environment
• You are able to work both autonomously and well within a team.
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Registered Cabler Licence with endorsed Co-axial, Fibre, and Structured cabling.
• High risk WP highly regarded.
• Drivers Licence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem solving/fault finding experience.
• ADF Clearance NV1 (highly desirable).
