Compliance Associate

Role Purpose
Monitoring potential risks that may arise for the company, ensuring that the company's business activities remain within the framework of applicable laws and regulations, as well as coordinating and reporting to the regulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Submitting reports, both routine and incidental, to the regulators.
• Providing reviews of laws and regulations to the company's employees.
• Presenting compliance performance reports to the Manager and Division Head.
• Monitoring the company's business processes.
• Assessing the company's internal policies.
• Continuously ensuring the applicability of new regulations that may impact the company.
• Educating company employees on new policies or regulations that affect the company.
• Preparing all necessary data for reporting to the regulators, both routine and incidental.
• Ensuring the implementation of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter
• Terrorism Financing (AML/CFT) program within the company.
• Maintaining an inventory of documents related to company compliance.

Requirements

• Understanding the company's business processes.
• Being able to communicate and collaborate with other divisions.
• Being capable of managing document inventories, both in hard copy and electronically.
• Understanding applicable laws and regulations.

Knowledge

• Regulatory Compliance.
• International standards in finance and banking, including but not limited to PCI and ISO.
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Skills

• Communication.
• Legal Understanding.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management.

• Less than 2 years of work experience.
• Experience in the financial industry is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of applicable government regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Law, Political Science, International Relations, or Communication from a reputable university in Indonesia.
