Equans is looking for a Contract Manager to join our team in Newcastle Upon Tyne on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

• Full accountability for the financial aspects of contracts/accounts including P&L. WIP and Debt – Profitability is a main driver within this post to ensure we are effective and efficient on profit returns to the Business Unit
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups
• Experience in using systems i.e. CAFM systems and operating systems to ensure stats are collated and reviewed for the business and customers meeting KPI/SLA’s
• Ensure that all risks relating to (SHEQ) safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of RAMS, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees, clients and end users.
• Develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors to improve contractual operational performance.
• Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with the Client and related Client organisations.
• Manage the client service delivery, which is spread over a number of locations, by ensuring all available resources work in a collaborative manner.
• Work with the mobile teams in planning, implementing and monitoring the standards of all works relating to the PPM schedule and all reactive works

Who are we looking for?

• Previous contract management experience
• Experience in using systems i.e. CAFM systems and operating systems to ensure stats are collated and reviewed for the business and customers meeting KPI/SLA’s
• A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.
• Technical Background with supporting qualifications
• Experience in Mobile Technical, delivering across several customers, working in a high-volume environment delivering Hard Service Solutions
• Good knowledge of building services and legislation
• Good experience and track record in working in Facilities Management
• Technical background essential
• H&S Qualification / M&E Qualifications
• Water Systems and Legionella Control – HSG274
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
• Experience of using a CAFM system
• Must have a full clean driver’s licence.
• Asbestos awareness
• Computer literate
• Good communicator with the clients, other service partners and suppliers.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised and able to work as part of a team.
