About The Role

We are looking for a Counseling Team Manager to oversee the daily operations of our student counseling team across Asia. As the right hand to the Finland-based Marketing & Business Growth Director, you will take ownership of leading, motivating, and supporting the team while ensuring that KPIs are met and performance remains strong.

This leadership role is crucial in ensuring that our team effectively guides international students on their journey to Finland and other European destinations while driving business growth and enrollment success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Team – Oversee the day-to-day operations of the counseling team across Asia.
• Motivate & Support – Inspire the team, provide ongoing support, and help individuals reach their full potential.
• Ensure KPI Achievement – Monitor performance, track results, and implement strategies to ensure targets are consistently met.
• Ensure Smooth Reporting & Communication – Maintain clear and structured reporting between the team and senior management.
• Uphold the 9 Touchpoint Model in Counseling – Ensure all prospective students receive high-quality counseling and support throughout their journey.
• Direct Student Counseling – Provide hands-on support to students throughout the admissions process, driving higher enrollments and ensuring a positive student experience.
• Act as a Strategic Partner – Work closely with the Marketing & Business Growth Director to drive direct recruitment growth and successful student enrollments.|
• Collaborate with Marketing & Recruitment Teams – Align counseling efforts with strategic goals, ensuring a seamless connection between marketing, recruitment, and counseling.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership experience – managing and motivating teams in a results-driven environment.
• Strong people management skills – ability to lead, coach, and develop a multicultural team.
• Goal-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills – understands the importance of KPIs, performance tracking, and meeting targets.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills – fluency in English (additional Asian languages are a plus).
• Proactive and solution-driven—takes initiative to find solutions and stay actively engaged with the team in a remote work environment.
• Ability to balance hands-on counseling with strategic team management – leading by example while ensuring overall team success.
• Strong understanding of the Asian market and international education landscape.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings, conferences, or student events.
