Credit Controller Analyst

Location: BSD, Tangerang, Indonesia

Working Model: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

We are seeking a highly organized Credit Control Analyst to support our financial operations by managing the credit control process, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dunning Process
    • Contact distributors for outstanding payments.
    • Send follow-up emails to distributors and the sales team.
    • Issue and track reminder letters for overdue payments.
  • Administration
    • Prepare and submit payment remittance reports to Credit Governance (CG).
    • Monitor and update expired or renewed Bank Guarantees or Credit Insurance.
    • Follow up on return memos for returned goods and resolve return issues reported by CG.
    • Work with the Claim Team, Trade Marketing, and Sales to follow up on claim issues.
  • Coordination
    • Participate in daily meetings with the Credit Controller Manager.
    • Attend weekly meetings with the Regional ABM Team, KAM Team, and Claim Team.
    • Engage in bi-weekly meetings with the Global Credit Control Team.
    • Contribute to innovation and process improvement discussions.
  • Reporting
    • Prepare and maintain the Daily Cash Collection Report.
    • Track financial data with the Monthly Cash Tracker Report.
    • Assess financial risks through the Bad Debt Provision Report.
About You

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in credit control, customer service, or a related role in the consumer goods industry is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze claims, assess situations, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Customer Service: A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to handle discussions under pressure, articulate viewpoints, and reach fair agreements.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with the flexibility of hybrid work (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).
  • Occasional overtime may be required, especially during month-end closing periods.

Reporting & Relationships

  • Reports to the Credit Controller Manager.
  • Works closely with the Sales Team, Finance Team, and Trade Marketing Team.
