Responsibilities

  • Write simple code using Python and SQL to help move and process data.
  • Build and manage simple data pipelines and scheduled jobs.
  • Use basic data modeling concepts like 1NF and 2NF.
  • Check data to make sure it's correct by looking at logs and outputs.
  • Work with different file types like CSV and JSON.
  • Use Git for code changes and collaboration.
  • Help with documentation by adding comments and updating files.
  • Learn from and work with more experienced engineers.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues in data platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Basic skills in Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data concepts like data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery) and DAGs.
  • Understanding of basic data modeling principles.
  • Experience using Git for version control.
  • Ability to work with basic Docker.
  • Eagerness to learn and accept feedback.
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to check outputs and logs.
