Demand Planning Officer

Job Description

Demand Planning Officer is responsible to define the forecast, supply and production plan that will enable to meet the sales and service objectives of the business by handle all Demand Planning and Inventory Control activities, include but not limited to Daily Inventory Level Control, Inventory Management, Distribution Planning, and Production Resource Planning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Distribution and production Resource Planning.
• Responsible for Inventory Controller (Physical Inventory, On Water Inventory, Provision-Write Off, Slow Moving Goods).
• Responsible for Material Requirement Planning (buffer stock, availability schedule, procurement request).
• Responsible for Master Production Scheduling (demand planning, weekly schedule).
• Responsible for Inventory management including regular cycle count and yearly Physical Count.
• Drive the accuracy of the Demand Forecast at levels such as Customer, Channel, Category, against target KPI’s.
• Develop, monitor and communicate reports on changes and forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement.
• Obey and implement food quality and food safety policy, GMP policy and HSE policy
• Participate and be part of the food safety team to evaluate and manage the implementation of GMP, HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, and ISO 22000:2018.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree from related majors such as Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, etc.
• Have minimum 2-3 years in job related experiences. Have experiences in Animal Nutrition Industry will be advantage
• Resident around Pasuruan, Jawa Timur Area will be an advantage
• have good knowledge in demand planning processes, techniques and methodologies and a good knowledge of supply network planning, inventory optimization and production planning
• Hands-on experience with modelling, forecasting, analysis and simulation tools is desirable
• Have good knowledge and experience organizing end to end Supply Chain Process
• Practically minded, well organized, and comfortable with details and numbers
• Comfortable and highly skills at data analysis, and mathematical/statistical abilities
• Have good project management skills which can forward thinking, foresees issues and solution
• Able and willing to work under pressure and under minimum supervision
• Proficient using Microsoft Excel & Supply Chain Management application
• Good communication in English both spoken and written will be advantage
