Job Summary
The Deputy CEO will work closely with the CEO to oversee all aspects of the company's operations, strategic planning, and business development. This pivotal role requires a highly experienced and results-oriented leader capable of driving growth, optimizing performance, and ensuring the long-term success of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the chemical industry, strong financial acumen, and exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives across various departments.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats.
Optimize operational processes to enhance cost-effectiveness and quality.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and profit maximization.
Ensure sound financial management and reporting.
Lead negotiations and cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
Drive innovation and the development of new products or services.
Foster a positive and high-performance work culture, promoting collaboration and employee development.
Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
Identify and mitigate potential business risks.
Maintain strong relationships with shareholders, investors, and the board of directors.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (e.g., VP, COO, or similar) within the chemical manufacturing industry or a closely related sector.
Proven track record of driving significant business growth and achieving strategic objectives.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex operations, financial performance, and large teams.
Prior experience in an Indonesian market context is a significant advantage.
Skills:
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Strong financial acumen and business judgment.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken) is essential.
