Job Description

• Lead the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
• Drive the Reliability Pillar by establishing preventive maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies.
• Analyze machine data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in reliability and downtime reduction.
• Oversee the troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical breakdowns across the plant.
• Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and FMEA to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide hands-on technical support and leadership for key equipment such as transformers, dedusting systems, belt conveyors, and mixing systems.
• Ensure maintenance teams are well-trained in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation troubleshooting.
• Oversee the selection and maintenance of critical equipment such as pumps, fluid systems, and conveyors.
• Develop and manage strategic maintenance plans to optimize equipment uptime and lifecycle.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Kaizen, and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives aimed at cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Lead efforts to reduce maintenance costs through spare parts optimization, predictive maintenance, and improved work order management.
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering and maintenance management, ideally in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience with TPM, RCM, and other reliability improvement programs.
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment such as transformers, dedusting systems, belt conveyors, and mixing systems.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, including experience with root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (LSS, Kaizen, CI).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
