Job Description
- Lead the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
- Drive the Reliability Pillar by establishing preventive maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies.
- Analyze machine data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in reliability and downtime reduction.
- Oversee the troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical breakdowns across the plant.
- Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and FMEA to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide hands-on technical support and leadership for key equipment such as transformers, dedusting systems, belt conveyors, and mixing systems.
- Ensure maintenance teams are well-trained in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation troubleshooting.
- Oversee the selection and maintenance of critical equipment such as pumps, fluid systems, and conveyors.
- Develop and manage strategic maintenance plans to optimize equipment uptime and lifecycle.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Kaizen, and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives aimed at cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Lead efforts to reduce maintenance costs through spare parts optimization, predictive maintenance, and improved work order management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering and maintenance management, ideally in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience with TPM, RCM, and other reliability improvement programs.
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment such as transformers, dedusting systems, belt conveyors, and mixing systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, including experience with root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (LSS, Kaizen, CI).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
