Export Import Specialist - Balikpapan / Jakarta

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand PIB (Pemberitahuan Import Barang) end to end process.
• Manage and oversee the entire process of export and import activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for customs clearance, shipping, and receiving of goods.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, customs brokers, and other third parties to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all import and export activities, including invoices, shipping documents, and regulatory compliance records.
• Stay updated on changes in import/export laws and regulations and ensure the company’s operations are compliant.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, procurement, and finance to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business goals.
• Provide support and guidance to the company on matters related to international trade.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in export/import operations or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in another language is a plus.
