External Relations Specialist

We are currently looking for a External Relations Specialist position to be placed at PT Mitra Murni Perkasa (MMS Group Indonesia)

Requirements :

⁠3-6 years as external relations or Industrial Relations

Certified of industrial relations professional (CIRP)

Communication & negotiation skill

Having experience in CSR, Environment and government relations will be a plus point

⁠Having strong networking

⁠Strong knowledge of government processes, regulatory frameworks, and public policy issues

Domicile in Balikpapan will be good

Responsibilities :

Responsible to manage external stakeholders/parties in engaging with the external matters, issues, including manage incoming proposal/donation for CSR activity

Building good relations with the community around the area of smelter nickel, local (village, chief local police) and regional/ district government

Control and monitor implementation of disciplinary actions in line with company regulations and labour laws are consistenly implemented across the company

Conduct identification, analysis and assessment of community’s social condition which includes culture and political situation in order to prevent and mitigate potential future disruptions.

⁠Make quick decision on the spot/field in an emergency situation when conflict exists while facing external stakeholders.

⁠Conduct mitigation initiatives and problem solving to prevent potential conflicts in the surrounding community

⁠Develop and implement procedures for grievance mechanisms for external stakeholders, maintain regular summary report on the external grievances to top management and maintain initiatives to mitigate the grievances

⁠Has experiences in managing social mapping and advise regularly to the management which key stakeholders need to be maintained
